Robert Downey Jr. and Iron man 3 Help you Learn Spanish

Finding Learning Spanish is a matter of being persistent, and making things fun is something that makes being persistent a much simpler endeavor.

Today we’ll take a look at a simple idea to practice Spanish using movie trailers. It is simple; all you need is 2 movie trailers; one version in Spanish and one version in English. Reading? Let’s get started.

This is the recommended sequence:

First, watch the movie trailer in English and then Spanish.

Second, play the video in Spanish one more time and scroll down to read the transcript (check the English translation if needed).

Third, watch the movie trailer in Spanish one more time without reading the transcript and try to understand as much as possible. If you can´t understand it all, go back to read the transcripts and try again.

  • Nothing has been the same since New York.
  • Nada ha sido igual desde Nueva York.

  • You experience things, and then they’re over.
  • Uno vive cosas, y luego se olvidan.

  • I can’t sleep, and when I do I have nightmares.
  • No puedo dormir, y cuando lo hago tengo pesadillas.

  • Honestly, there’s 100 people who want to kill me.
  • Siendo honesto, muchas personas quieren matarme.

  • I hope I can protect the one thing I can’t live without.
  • Espero poder proteger lo único que le da sentido a mi vida.

  • Ladies, children, sheep. Some people call me a terrorist. I consider myself a teacher.
  • Mujeres, niños, ovejas. Algunos me llaman terrorista. Yo me considero un maestro.

  • Lesson number one. Heroes, There is no such thing.
  • Lección número uno. Héroes, no existe tal cosa.

  • Iron Man 3.

Now it’s time to watch the movie trailer in Spanish one more time. This time without reading the transcript. Try to understand as much as possible and go back to the transcript if you can’t understand all of it.
